This lab mirrors our production monitoring stack so I can test SNMP polling configs, dashboard layouts, and alerting rules before rolling them out. Grafana Alloy collects SNMP metrics from Cisco switches and Palo Alto firewalls, with Datadog as a secondary ingestion path for bandwidth and health monitoring. The goal is zero surprises when changes hit production.
